AdminBolt and CloudLinux Announce Official Cooperation
We are pleased to announce that AdminBolt is now officially working with CloudLinux.
The cooperation formalizes the integration between AdminBolt and the CloudLinux ecosystem and gives us a direct framework for technical integration, support and licensing. The agreement between AdminBolt and CloudLinux Software, Inc. covers licensed CloudLinux products and services, including CloudLinux OS and Imunify360.
For us, this is an important step in building AdminBolt as a serious control panel for hosting providers.
Official CloudLinux support for AdminBolt
AdminBolt is now included in the official CloudLinux documentation as a supported control panel.
This is important because our goal was never to simply make CloudLinux products "work somehow" with AdminBolt. We want the integration to follow the mechanisms expected by CloudLinux and to be maintainable as both platforms continue to develop.
For hosting providers, this means a clearer and more predictable way to use CloudLinux together with AdminBolt.
It also means that AdminBolt becomes part of the CloudLinux ecosystem from the beginning, rather than relying on unofficial compatibility layers or temporary workarounds.
What the integration covers
CloudLinux products are deeply connected with the daily operation of shared hosting servers, so the integration needs to go beyond installation.
Our goal is to make CloudLinux functionality feel like a native part of AdminBolt.
The integration covers areas such as:
- CloudLinux OS support
- CloudLinux user and server management
- integration with hosting accounts and packages
- resource limits and server resource management
- CloudLinux-related account lifecycle operations
- CloudLinux configuration from the AdminBolt environment
- Imunify360 integration
- license provisioning and activation
- product status and license management
- workflows connecting server provisioning, hosting management and CloudLinux services
The first commercial scope defined in our agreement includes the CloudLinux OS product family and Imunify360. The agreement includes several CloudLinux and Imunify360 license variants.
We see this as a foundation rather than a finished integration.
As AdminBolt develops, we want to continue expanding how CloudLinux technologies are exposed inside the panel. Administrators should not need to move between separate systems for everyday hosting operations.
CloudLinux and Imunify360 licenses directly from AdminBolt
Another important part of the cooperation is licensing.
AdminBolt will introduce the ability for its customers to purchase CloudLinux OS and Imunify360 licenses directly through the AdminBolt platform.
The agreement allows AdminBolt to resell these licenses to direct AdminBolt platform customers.
The goal is simple.
If you deploy and manage a server through AdminBolt, you should also be able to activate the software required for that server from the same place.
Instead of treating licensing as a completely separate process, we want to connect it with the server lifecycle.
Over time, this should move us closer to a simple workflow. A hosting provider should be able to deploy a server, configure the hosting stack, activate required CloudLinux products and start using the environment without unnecessary manual steps.
Direct technical relationship with CloudLinux
The cooperation also gives AdminBolt a formal support relationship with CloudLinux.
Under the agreement, CloudLinux provides ticket-based technical support for the licensed products used by AdminBolt, with an unlimited number of incidents arising from production use.
This matters especially at the control panel level.
Hosting infrastructure consists of many interconnected components. When something changes in the operating system, security layer or control panel, compatibility needs to be maintained on both sides.
Having a direct relationship with CloudLinux makes it easier for us to develop and maintain the integration properly. We do not have to treat CloudLinux as just another third-party package installed on the server.
Why this cooperation matters for AdminBolt
AdminBolt is being built around a simple idea. Hosting providers should be able to choose the technologies they want to use without being locked into one closed ecosystem.
But openness alone is not enough.
A control panel also needs deep integrations with the software hosting companies already depend on.
CloudLinux is one of the most important examples.
For many hosting providers, the operating system, resource isolation and security stack are just as important as the control panel itself. These components have to work together as one infrastructure platform.
This cooperation helps us move closer to that goal.
It also reflects how we want to approach other important integrations in AdminBolt.
We do not want to build a long list of integrations that exist only on a feature comparison page. We want integrations that are properly supported, documented and useful in real hosting operations.
A broader CloudLinux ecosystem inside AdminBolt
CloudLinux OS and Imunify360 are the starting point of the cooperation.
From the AdminBolt perspective, the more important long-term goal is to make the broader CloudLinux ecosystem easier to operate from one place.
That means fewer separate configuration steps for hosting administrators. It also means connecting CloudLinux functionality with the same objects they already manage in AdminBolt - servers, users, hosting accounts, packages and services.
The control panel should become the operational layer connecting these technologies rather than forcing administrators to treat every product as a separate system.
This is the direction we are taking with the CloudLinux integration.
What comes next
Our next step is to continue expanding the technical integration and introduce CloudLinux license purchasing directly inside AdminBolt.
We will also continue working on making the CloudLinux experience feel native to the panel - from server deployment and configuration to licensing and ongoing management.
CloudLinux has been an important part of the hosting industry for years. We believe that proper support for its ecosystem is essential for a modern hosting control panel.
With the cooperation now official, AdminBolt has a much stronger foundation to deliver that support properly.
How to set up CloudLinux on an AdminBolt server today is described in our CloudLinux documentation.
